The damage doesn't compare to other similar weapons, the ammo is unique, and the grenade launcher feature implied by the marketing image is a complete fiction.. I assume that this is JC2's version of the pitbulls from JC1. While I like this gun more than the Bullseye DLC, this has more limited applications that can be solved quickly with upgraded regular weapons.. INSANELY OVERPOWERED! BUY IT NOW. Worth a purchase if on sale, dont think I'd pay the full amount.As others state, revolver and other guns maxed out can compare to this gun. This is slighty stronger, but ammo is "buy" only, while most faction bases have all the ammo you need for "regular" game weapons.HOWEVER, if you use a Trainer\/mod, and use an all ammo cheat, this will be you go-to pistol in the game, and you wont have to waste upgrades on it!! Sniping snipers with a pistol is great, and Generals go down in 2-3 headshots shots, less than that early on.. Not worth it.. It's just the Revolver with a higher maximum rate of fire - it doesn't shoot grenades or dispense vanilla Coke or anything. Only really useful if you turn on infinite ammo.I got this on sale, and you should too.. i like powerful revolvers and shotguns if you dont like this still buy the dlc if you think the other weapons are boring. The same criticism goes for this as nearly all the other guns you can buy via DLC: you have to keep buying more ammunition from the boring, repetitive, annoying Black Market. Just upgrade the standard machine and submachine guns and you can easily replenish your ammo for free via troop drops while maintaining an equivalent lethality.
